Matter as wave-pattern — DANodes don't move, only patterns do

1. The question: what moves when matter moves?

When you walk across a room, what physically translates through space? The naïve answer — "you do, all 7 × 10²⁷ atoms of you" — turns out, on inspection, to be wrong. Or at least, deeply incomplete. In the lattice picture, death is the loss of self-sustaining pattern. The DANodes at your body's location remain — they are substrate, they don't go anywhere. 6.2 Pattern transfer — what's actually permitted by physics?

Three categories of pattern transfer are consistent with the lattice picture (which does not equal "proven" or "observed"):
